Gotta Hold It Together.

I grew up eating Hamburger Helper piled on top of a mound of mashed potatoes. Fast Food Fridays. Tombstone pepperoni pizzas with Doritos and Pepsi. Eating a massive bowl of ice cream topped with chocolate syrup, cool whip, caramel sauce, peanuts, the works. A baker's dozen of donuts every Sunday morning.

Obviously, I can't eat like that anymore, but that glutenous little kid still lurks inside of me. And, there is one person who can bring out that indulgent and impulsive husky kid in me.

That person is Ryan Miller.

We grew up eating the same way, so when we decide to let loose, it is pretty appalling the damage that we do. Ask Ryan's wife about this. She has seen the carnage firsthand.

So, Ryan is coming to San Francisco and has already been talking a pretty big game. The trick is I am headed into the final two weeks of my 6-week challenge, so this will be a true test of my commitment to eating a healthy diet.

I fully intend on taking him my favorite restaurants, but I will really have to restrain myself from indulging. Of course I may make a small exception, but I need to remind myself that I need to eat for nutrition. As long as I make sure to eat big healthy meals, I should be fine.

I am happy to say that I am down to 176 lbs from 191 lbs....15 lbs so far. My elastic waisted pants barely stay up anymore and I have almost gained 2 notches on my belt. I have not had 1 instance of acid reflux, and as a result, I am sleeping like a baby every night.
